Stephen Dale Petit performs at The Eel Pie Club

Classic Rock Magazine says ‘Petit occupies a stunning middle ground between the fire of Freddie King, the instinct of Jimmy Page and the soul of Eric Clapton’.
Stephen Dale Petit is an exceptional blues guitarist who has played alongside guitar legends such as Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, and B.B.King! He moved to London from California when he was barely 20, and he’s lived through and survived the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, composing and financing his much acclaimed debut album Guitararama whilst busking on the London Underground.
He has since released 4 albums and toured extensively around UK and Europe plus giving masterclass university lectures on blues music and widespread radio airplay. In 2016, he double-headlined with blues-rock titan, Walter Trout.
Rolling Stone Mick Taylor commented: “He’s got his own unique take on contemporary blues… I’ve heard him do a great live version of Freddie King’s “Have You Ever Loved a Woman?” It was wonderful. All his albums are very interesting, he deserves the recognition.”
