    Sunday the 25th of June saw the last events of the Twickenham Festival that the TTBA coordinated from the first event of the Tug of War in Church Street, until the last day Sunday the 25th with the Big Picnic in Church Street. All the events were really well supported by the community and we hope everyone enjoyed them! Here are a few of the highlights.

    The draw for the TwickFest Raffle was on Monday the 26th of June.
    Bruce Lyons, chairman of the Twickenham Town Business Association drew the winning tickets, adjudicated by Riccardo Garcia of Riccardo’s cellar, Church Street, Twickenham. Here are the wining tickets.

    Ride 40 Anniversary Cycle ride Fointainebleau to Richmond 13 September

    Our French Connection! This year is the 40th anniversary of the twinning between Richmond Borough and Fontainebleau which lies 30 miles south of Paris.To mark the occasion a cycle ride is being organised in aid of StreetInvest, a local charity that supports street children around the world and will soon be training detached youth workers in the UK. The Ride 40 Anniversary cycle challenge covers 263 miles over 5 days and 4 nights.

    Al Fresco Dining in Church Street 25 May - 3 September

    On the first Thursday before the May bank holiday, is the 25th of May. This is the start of the Al Fresco dining season in Church Street Twickenham. This is one of the few Al Fresco venues in London & the street is closed to traffic during the Al Fresco dining hours and diners can enjoy the Summer Weather and eat in the convivial open air.
